MEDIA CREDENTIALS
Media Credential Guidelines
- To submit a request for media credentials to attend the 2012 ACT Expo, click here.
- All requests for credentials must be made at least seven business days in advance of the 2012 ACT Expo.
- Each person must complete a separate request and list his or her duties (staff writer photographer, broadcast reporter).
- Submitting a media credential request does not guarantee access to the 2012 ACT Expo. You will be notified within a week after submitting a request if your application was approved.
- All applicants must provide a letter of assignment from a verifiable media outlet on company letterhead with the completed application. The letter should denote the type and focus of the planned editorial coverage.
- Publishers, marketing or advertising personnel, public relation or information officers, staff of the publication or authors will not be accredited to attend as media.
- 2012 ACT Expo organizers reserve the right to refuse media registrations in advance and on-site, and to limit the number of registrations per media outlet.
Qualifications
Applicants requesting media credentials for the 2012 ACT Expo must show proof of current employment by one of the following media types:
- Business and Trade Publications/News Wire Services
Reporters and editors from magazines, newspapers, trade publications, and wire services
- Television and Radio
Broadcast reporters and producers from news organizations
- Freelance Writers
Include with your completed media credential application examples of past coverage (website links to stories accepted).
- Online Publications
The online publication must contain editorial content that is relevant to alternative fuels and/or clean vehicle technologies. Personal web pages will not be accepted. Please provide with your completed media credential application examples of past coverage, demonstrate updated website content, site traffic, statistics.
Bloggers and independent online contributors that develop original content will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
