The first RIZON Truck Class 4-5 battery-electric cabover trucks, engineered by Daimler Truck Group, were delivered to California customers in Spring 2024. Exclusively distributed in the U.S. by Velocity EV, RIZON Trucks are set to revolutionize urban delivery applications by driving both economic and environmental sustainability.
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) designated RIZON’s Class 4/5 battery-electric cabover trucks as zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) in the state of California under Executive Order: A-361-0033 in September 2023. The ZEV designation makes RIZON’s vehicles eligible for the state’s Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP), enabling fleets to apply for a base voucher of $60,000 per vehicle purchased.
